Summary (2007-2009):

We are proud that we have been able to assist the animal community in so many ways over the past few years. We have purchased, assembled & delivered hundreds of Kuranda beds and Kong toys to dogs in shelters and rescues. We have donated new leashes, collars, crates, high quality food and other items that directly benefit these homeless animals. We spent many hours contacting shelters and rescues to find out what exactly what the needs were. And we made sure that whatever was donated would help to make a dog's life more comfortable while waiting for a forever home. Everything we have purchased has come through the generous donations of many kind hearted animal lovers. Aside from direct donations, we have provided community education to students, published a comprehensive list of rescues/shelters in the capital region of NY State and surrounding areas, featured hard to place dogs, focused attention on lost dogs, and networked with the public on a daily basis. We hope we have created community awareness, increased the quality of life for dogs in shelters & rescues, and helped to increase adoption.
